paytech is a dynamic fintech company dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation in the industry.
We are looking for a Senior Product Lead to own the product vision, roadmap and outcomes for our web applications and payment interfaces.
You will decide what we build and why, define how the product should work and ensure a consistently high standard of delivery, working closely with our product designer, who is responsible for design execution.
Please note: this role requires proven experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner or Product Lead with direct ownership of roadmap and outcomes, gained at a payment processing company – such as a payment orchestration platform, PSP, acquirer or payment gateway. Experience in product design or UX research alone, or payments experience only on the merchant side, does not meet the requirements.
What you'll do:
- Own product strategy, roadmap and prioritisation together with the CTO and company leadership;
- Run discovery with PSPs, merchants, payment operations and internal teams to identify problems and opportunities for automation;
- Turn complex payment workflows into clear requirements and acceptance criteria for conversion-focused cashiers, hosted payment pages, widgets and operational tools;
- Define user journeys, permissions and workflows, and work with the product designer on prototypes and specifications;
- Lead delivery with engineering, QA, design and business teams, balancing platform scalability with client-specific and white-label needs;
- Set product standards for localisation, accessibility, multi-tenancy, security and auditability across global markets, devices and payment behaviours;
- Identify and drive AI use cases in core workflows, such as contextual assistance, anomaly detection, recommendations and natural-language analytics;
- Use analytics, usability testing and customer feedback to measure outcomes and improve the product after launch.
Job Requirements:
Must Have
- Significant experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner or Product Lead in payment processing – payment orchestration, PSP, acquiring or payment gateway platforms – with a track record of taking customer-facing payment products from discovery to launch;
- Direct ownership of cashiers, hosted payment pages, checkout flows, payment widgets or similar transaction interfaces, including accountability for their results;
- Strong understanding of payment journeys, transaction statuses, routing, declines, payment methods and merchant requirements;
- Strong UX understanding (user research, journeys, information architecture) and working knowledge of Figma or equivalent tools;
- Technical fluency in APIs, frontend architecture and software delivery, enough to make informed trade-offs with engineers;
- Experience with global, multi-tenant products and practical understanding of AI in product workflows;
- Fluent English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with merchant portals, backoffices, B2B SaaS or data-heavy dashboards;
- Experience specifically with payment orchestration platforms;
- A track record of improving checkout or payment-widget conversion;
- Background in frontend or software engineering, including the ability to build working prototypes and inspect frontend implementation.
How you'll work:
Reporting to the CTO, partnering closely with the Head of Engineering and a cross-functional team, with real authority over product direction and UX, while engineering owns architecture and implementation.
What we offer:
- Competitive compensation;
- A cozy office in Limassol — snacks, drinks, PS5, and a stunning rooftop kitchen view — during the probation period, with a flexible format afterward;
- Sports and lunches compensation;
- Team events, health insurance, nice perks, relocation and work permit support.
