About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

At Salesforce, we make the tools that help people work more effectively and efficiently. Design and User Experience is at the center of all of it. We bring powerful visions to life with the latest technologies and the Salesforce platform. We put customers first and we're looking for ambitious, self-motivated, creative-minded individuals who want to help shape our products focused on serving powerful actionable intelligence for every business use case.

You and your team will distill complex problems and propose clear, efficient, consistent solutions. You're meticulous and excited about beautiful design, and you love seeing products ship. You're hungry for new ways to do things. You follow the latest trends, download the newest apps, experiment with the latest devices and wearables. You have a keen eye for useful products, and you share your findings with the team. You're a tireless advocate for the end user. You have deep empathy for their everyday struggles and challenges. You always put their needs first, and you're unwavering in your desire to provide the best experiences for users.

The ideal candidate enjoys creating experiences with technology, hacking on new projects, and intensely working on high-value, strategic initiatives under tight time constraints. You will have direct access to customer executives and Salesforce executive management, while working closely with the Salesforce Product and Sales organizations. You must have excellent communication skills, energy, and thoughtfulness to build and deliver the best in the world for our customers.

Core Responsibilities & Scope

• Influence and compellingly communicate the UX vision to a wide variety of key stakeholders.
• Build strong partnerships across disciplines, including Design, Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
• Solve complex UX design problems across web, mobile, and tablet platforms.
• Collaborate closely with product owners/managers (POs & PMs) to identify opportunities for new products and features, and validate assumptions through user testing and research.
• Work with engineering teams to deliver polished final products.
• Reinforce a design-thinking culture that leverages the best product, technology, and innovative talent.
• Evangelize new interface guidelines and design patterns.
• Design and maintain scalable design systems (components, patterns, standards) that support consistency across product surfaces.
• Partner with engineering to define how AI agents surface in product workflows, informing when and how agent-driven interactions appear to users.
• Apply design judgment to human-AI interaction patterns, including trust, transparency, explainability, and AI-assisted workflows, as our products become increasingly agent-driven.
• Champion responsible design practices — including accessibility, privacy, bias mitigation, and user trust — as foundational expectations for enterprise-grade products.

Minimum Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of experience designing and delivering products in cross-functional teams from start to finish.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design methods and best practices, with a constant drive to improve your process.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, agile environment while leading process improvement efforts.
• Power to influence others and build consensus while navigating ambiguity.
• Self-motivated, a strong communicator, and able to balance great design with meeting tight deadlines.
• Experience using analytics, user research, and other data-informed approaches to make decisions and iterate on products.
• Expert knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Fluent in using AI across the design lifecycle — ideation, prototyping, research synthesis, and documentation — to work faster and explore more options, while applying design judgment to validate, refine, or override AI outputs.
• Ability to provide structured design context and clear instructions that enable AI to generate high-quality, consistent, and user-centered outputs, while applying strong design judgment to evaluate and refine the results.
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in design systems
• Experience with CRM or enterprise software
• Experience creating user-led data visualization solutions
• Experience with data management software
