Portfolio Implementator
ING Private Banking & Wealth Management
A day in the life of a Portfolio Implementator
- You construct and manage discretionary portfolios by translating the Investment Office strategy, model portfolios and instrument selection into individual client portfolios.
- You apply the defined level of personalisation within each client’s mandate, risk profile and investment restrictions, while maintaining consistency with ING’s investment strategy and portfolio-management framework.
- You monitor and rebalance portfolios, including asset-allocation deviations, cash positions, liquidity needs and mandate-specific constraints.
- You coordinate the timely and accurate implementation of investment decisions with the Investment Office, client-facing Portfolio Managers, Risk, Compliance and Operations.
- You analyse portfolio performance and performance attribution. You translate the results into a clear and personalised narrative for Portfolio Managers, explaining the main performance drivers in the context of each client’s portfolio, strategy and specific positioning.
- You contribute to improving the tools, data, processes and controls supporting consistent, efficient and scalable discretionary portfolio management.
