The Core Platform product stream helps accelerate Miro’s success and innovation through solid technical and product foundations, powerful yet simple development experiences, and by nurturing cultural change across the company in order to power Miro's visual workspace.
As part of this stream, the Design System team is at the forefront of shaping the user experience of our product. The team is dedicated to ensuring that our design language is not only modern and distinct but also inclusive and accessible to all users. Supported by a product lead and a dedicated engineering team, the designers in the design system team are responsible for our design system efforts across all of Miro, including the core product experience on desktop and mobile, and the Miro website.

Miro has turned from an online whiteboard into a large-scale, visual collaboration platform that includes millions of users and their accounts.
As a leader within the Design System team, you will drive the vision and evolution of Miro's product design language, design execution and delivery according to Miro's design principles and accessibility standards. You will set the bar for design quality across the organisation.
In addition to driving the vision for our Design System, you will manage a small team of senior designers and collaborate closely with the product and engineering partners on the team. You will help define the vision of the design system, providing direction to brand and product designers by evolving and systemising Miro's product design language.
This role requires a systematic approach to solution design, combined with strong product design skills, a strong sense of aesthetic, a passion for complex problem solving, experience with the latest accessibility standards, and outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills.
Each role at Miro is based at one of our physical hubs, and we look for talent that want to be part of these local, collaborative communities. Mironeers work in a hybrid model, with a 2 days-a-week in office culture as our baseline.
This role can be based in either our London, Berlin, Amsterdam or Copenhagen hub.
