Functieomschrijving

At Tulip Tech, we design and manufacture high-energy density battery systems and the software that controls them, for drones and electric aircraft. Our technology delivers 30–100% more flight time than standard systems and is already flying with customers such as Acecore and Avy.

From Den Bosch, we work with partners including the Dutch Ministry of Defence and NLR. We are growing rapidly and building the technology that will enable the next generation of aviation.

Why this role matters

As Tulip Tech grows, so does our need for great people. Our engineering, production and commercial teams are expanding, and our hiring roadmap is full.

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will own recruitment from A to Z while also helping shape how we hire. You will work closely with hiring managers and the Management Team, advise on recruitment strategy, challenge assumptions when needed, and continuously improve our approach.

This is a hands-on role with strategic impact: you will be both a recruiter and a business partner, helping Tulip Tech build the team we need for our next phase of growth.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Own the full recruitment process, from intake to offer, across engineering, production, commercial and operations.

• Source candidates through multiple channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter. Proactively build talent pipelines, including for hard-to-find technical talent.

• Manage multiple vacancies simultaneously and keep hiring managers and candidates moving through the process.

• Work with hiring managers to clarify hiring needs, define profiles, advise on the market, and critically assess requirements where needed.

• Use recruitment data and market insights to improve sourcing and hiring decisions.

• Identify and implement improvements to our recruitment process, candidate experience and ways of working.

• Lead Talent Acquisition initiatives such as sourcing campaigns, employer branding, recruitment marketing and interview training.

• Explore new ways to attract talent and determine which channels and approaches work best for Tulip Tech.

• Represent Tulip Tech to candidates and externally through LinkedIn, events and other relevant channels.

Vereisten

• 5+ years of recruitment experience, with in-house Talent Acquisition experience preferred, or a mix of in-house and agency recruitment.

• Strong hands-on sourcing experience and a genuine interest in finding and approaching talent yourself, preferably technical and/or production talent.

• Good stakeholder management skills, with the ability to advise, influence and challenge hiring managers when needed.

• Experience in a scale-up, start-up or other fast-growing environment; you’re comfortable working in less structured organisations and building processes from the ground up.

• Demonstrated experience taking ownership of Talent Acquisition initiatives, such as process improvements, employer branding, recruitment campaigns or interview training.

• Experience with ATS systems, preferably Recruitee.

• A strategic mindset: you understand the organisation's hiring needs and can translate them into an effective recruitment approach.

• A data-driven mindset: you are comfortable analysing recruitment metrics and using them to improve your approach.

• Comfortable managing multiple vacancies in a dynamic environment.

• Fluent in English, with an openness to learning Dutch over time.

Interview process

• Introductory phone call (15 minutes)

• 2 panel interviews (45 minutes each, on the same day)

• Offer

What we offer

• A competitive salary between €4,500 and €6,000 gross per month, depending on experience.

• 38 days off per year based on full-time employment (25 vacation days + 13 ADV days under the Metalektro/Metal & Technology collective labour agreement).

• 8% holiday allowance and pension through PMT.

• Quarterly outings and team events.

• Daily lunch provided by the company.

• The freedom to shape your role and take real ownership.
