Senior Project Manager

In digital TV, we create software for devices like set-top boxes and smart TVs. We work on development and enhancements of TV software components, including Android TV, Linux and RDK, to provide customizable experiences for OTT and Hybrid. Our solutions range from basic zappers to high-end Android TV, deployed over 40 million times worldwide. Collaborating with leaders like Google, we work with major manufacturers (MTK, AMLogic, Synaptics, Broadcom) and TV brands (Sony, Sharp) as well as telco operators (Bouygues Telecom, NTT).
Your role would include:
- Planning, execution, and overseeing multiple embedded software projects, ensuring on-time delivery that is within scope and budget, while following quality standards
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation
- Identifying project risks early and maintaining a risk register with mitigation and contingency plans
- Facilitating regular project meetings and status updates with internal teams and external clients
- Monitoring scope adherence and managing change requests. Ensuring proper documentation and approval processes are followed
- Tracking project timelines and milestones. Proactively identifying risks and adjusting plans to meet deadlines
- Managing budgets by tracking costs, forecasting resource needs, and ensuring financial profitability during project lifecycle
- Ensuring quality by aligning development practices with internal QA standards, customer requirements, and compliance protocols. Coordinating test activities, defect tracking, and final validation
- Establishing clear communication channels and ensuring alignment between engineering, QA, management, and external stakeholders
- Implementing and tracking project performance metrics. Reporting status to stakeholders through regular updates and dashboards
Requirements:
- University degree in the field of information technology
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies and software engineering best practices
- Senior experience in managing complex IT development programs and projects
- Knowledge of the methodology and tools in the field of software engineering (software development process, release management, configuration management, document management, issue tracking, quality assurance, etc.)
- Formal education or trainings in the field of project management, and possessions of certificates such as PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, SCRUM Master are preferred
- Experience in MS Office tools, MS Project, a web-based project management tools
- Good verbal and communication skills in English
