Навыки: Node.js, TypeScript, React, Microsoft SQL, T-SQL, SQL, JavaScript, Redux, Git. Квалификация: Senior. Специализации: Фулстек разработчик.
We are looking for a senior engineer to take technical ownership of a few live production systems: a Node.js/TypeScript backend service and the large React application it serves. You will own systems and the technical decisions inside them.
This is not greenfield work. These systems are in production with real users, enterprise integrations and years of history. A significant part of the business logic lives in SQL Server stored procedures and triggers, and parts of the application’s behaviour are driven by configuration stored in the database rather than by code. Your first weeks will be spent reading unfamiliar code and an unfamiliar database, not writing new modules.
A Node.js/TypeScript backend — API contracts for external partners, internal dashboard endpoints, scheduled jobs and CLI tools, and integrations with corporate enterprise systems.
A large React application (Redux Toolkit, React Query, Vite, Module Federation, git submodules), on equal footing with the backend. This is a genuinely full-stack role, not a backend role with occasional UI fixes.
The data layer — SQL Server schema, stored procedures, triggers and query performance. Schema changes on staging and production are applied by a DBA, so your DDL has to be reviewable and correct the first time.
Deliver features end to end - from the React form down to the stored procedure behind it.
Trace and explain business logic across the frontend, the backend and the database.
Find technical debt, decide what is worth paying down and when, and then do it.
Write specifications for new work and keep the living documentation in sync with the code. This is part of our Definition of Done, not an afterthought.
Handle production issues in systems you did not build, and become the person who can explain why something broke.
Review code and take part in technical decisions alongside a small engineering team - reviewing each other’s work, not managing it.
Week 1: environment running locally, first useful pull request merged.
Month 1: you can trace a business flow across all three layers and explain it to someone else.
Month 2: you own one domain end to end and make decisions in it without checking in first.
We do not expect you to be productive within a few days, with codebases of this size that would not be realistic. What we do expect is steady progress without someone walking you through the code.
5+ years of professional software engineering, including ownership of production systems rather than isolated features.
Strong TypeScript and Node.js.
Strong SQL Server - T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, indexes and execution plans. You need to be comfortable with business logic that lives in the database.
Comfortable working without a full ORM - application code queries through a query builder, and the heavier logic is written as SQL directly.
Strong React - hooks, Redux Toolkit or comparable state management, data fetching, and the discipline to work inside a large existing component base.
Designing API contracts and integrations, including versioning and backward compatibility with external consumers.
Comfort working in an in-house framework - you pick it up from its internal documentation and from the code itself.
Familiarity with dependency injection - our backend wires services through a DI container.
You write tests. Ours are Vitest, including integration tests that run against a real SQL Server instance in a local container.
Security awareness in everyday work - authentication and tokens, endpoint authorization, and injection.
You work with AI coding agents and you verify what they produce. Our repositories carry conventions for agent-assisted development and we expect you to use them. The bar is that you can defend every line you submit in review, whoever typed it.
Professional written English. You will read and write specifications, documentation and code review comments in English. Spoken English is not a requirement.
Experience with enterprise or legacy integrations.
Experience with systems where runtime behaviour is driven by configuration in a database.
PostgreSQL - our primary database here is SQL Server; Postgres is used in neighbouring services.
TypeScript, Node.js, SQL Server, React, Vite. The backend is built on an in-house framework; the frontend is assembled from git submodules with Module Federation.
You do not need prior experience with every tool we use. You do need to become productive in an existing production environment without a long guided onboarding.
