About us
The Pearl Street Technologies team's mission is to accelerate the transition to a reliable, decarbonized grid. Pearl Street Technologies was acquired into the Power & Energy Transition team at Enverus. We deliver software solutions to electric grid operators, utilities, and renewable energy project developers to tackle the "interconnection bottleneck," the process by which large-scale solar, wind, and battery projects connect to the power grid. To date, over 500 billion watts' worth of renewable energy projects have been modeled in our software to expedite their interconnection to the grid – equivalent to nearly 1200 million solar panels, 50 billion LEDs, or 650 million horses! If you are interested in solving the most pressing challenges of the world's most critical infrastructure, we'd love to hear from you!
The Pearl Street Technologies team is located in Pittsburgh, PA, and this role is an in-office position based in Pittsburgh.
What you'll do
We're seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to build and enhance the Interconnect© and SUGAR™ applications. Improving these applications helps our customers successfully study and deploy renewable energy projects to the power grid. You'll work across the entire user-facing stack—designing intuitive user interfaces and ensuring seamless frontend-backend integration. You'll own features end-to-end, from UI mockup through API design, database schema, testing, and deployment.
You will play a leading role in developing new features, enhancements, and improvements to the user experience of our applications:
