As a Network Engineer in the IT Infrastructure division, you will design, operate, and continuously optimize high-availability, geo-distributed network environments across global data centers. Your work ensures secure, resilient, and predictable connectivity for mission-critical platforms and services.
You will drive the evolution of core network architectures, enhance automation and reliability practices, and collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to support current and future business needs
What you'll actually do
- Network engineer designs, Implements, and Operates Network Security solutions to improve robust and secure network infrastructure.
- Network engineer collaborates directly with the Security, Infrastructure, and Trading units to drive the development and enhancement of business solutions.
- A network engineer ensures smooth operations of production systems after the design phase is completed and the solution is deployed, providing documentation and tools for management and monitoring.
- Maintain the Exness network across multiple production and corporate environments, both in the cloud and on-premises.
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- At least 5 years of experience in network and security design and operationsSolid understanding of Security technologies (NGFW, NAT, Threat Defence etc.)
- Hands-on experience in building and operating Security Solutions based on PaloAlto, Cisco and others top network security vendors.
- Hands-on experience in designing and operating L2-3 networks based on Cisco or other major network manufacturers, such as Huawei, Juniper or others
- Solid experience in automating operational tasks using tools such as Python, Ansible, or others, and familiarity with the CI/CD approach
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring, including open-source products like Grafana, Telegraf, and Prometheus
- Knowledge in technologies such as the OSI model and TCP/UDP stack, including multicast
- In-depth understanding of switching and routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and VXLAN/BGP EVPN
- Good grasp of Linux systems
