Underwriter Operations Technicians - Outwards (FTC 12 months)

Chubb is seeking an Underwriter Operations Technician – Outwards to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting complex multinational programs. In this position, you will drive the management of a portfolio of Multinational Programs, partnering with brokers, network partners, and internal teams to deliver seamless service and operational excellence. This role combines customer focus, business partnership, and problem-solving skills to support program maintenance, reinsurance, premium booking, tracking activities, and digital initiatives across Global Services. Key responsibilities

• Communicate and build relationships with Underwriters, overseas offices, and other Chubb staff, functioning as a trusted advisor and demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.

• Manage workloads in accordance with Service Level Agreements, showcasing time management and multi-tasking and prioritization skills.

• Work within the framework of Chubb ethical and compliance standards, ensuring adherence to quality and service standards.

• Ensure multinational workbooks are prepared, maintained, and completed in accordance with the Global Services Department standards, demonstrating attention to detail and operational excellence.

• Assist with ongoing digital projects identified throughout the year for improvements to the Global Services Department, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Perform incidental work that may be required outside the scope of day-to-day work requirements, adapting to changing environments and priorities. 

• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new and updated digital platforms — executing test cases, logging defects, and providing structured feedback to IT and Product team.

• Support data migration activities, including validation checks and reconciliation of records when transitioning between platforms.

• Maintain and improve reporting tools, dashboards and user guides for operational tools and workflows used by the Global Services team.

• Map and document end-to-end workflows to support digitization efforts and knowledge management.

• Contribute to communication strategies around platform changes plus support training sessions for team members on new tools and digital processes.

• • Advanced level in English (C1) is a must. 

• • Native/bilingual proficiency in German/Dutch/French/Italian is required. 

• • Familiarity with Word, Excel, and Jira. 

• • Strong digital and computer literacy skills. 

• • Demonstrated openness to AI tools and willingness to integrate them into daily work 

• • Experience with IT platforms and quality control is desirable. 

• • Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

• • Ability to work collaboratively and an interest in the insurance market. 

• • Skills in active listening, attention to detail, business partnership, data analysis, multi-tasking, operational excellence, time management, and troubleshooting.
