Our journey began from a personal place; our founder and CEO, Sammy Faycurry, was inspired by his mother and sister, both of whom are registered dietitians. He witnessed firsthand the incredible impact they had on their clients' lives but also the significant challenges they faced within the existing healthcare system. It became clear that while many platforms catered to mental health therapists, dietitians were largely underserved. This realization sparked the creation of Fay, a platform designed to empower dietitians and make their invaluable services more accessible to the millions who need them. We've built a vertical AI-powered platform that serves as a comprehensive 'business-in-a-box' for dietitians, enabling them to launch and scale their own private practices. Our technology handles the administrative burdens that often bog down practitioners, such as insurance billing, scheduling, and client management. By automating these back-office tasks, we free up dietitians to do what they do best: provide personalized, life-changing nutrition counseling. We connect individuals with a vast network of registered dietitians across all 50 states, covering over 30 specialties. A cornerstone of our model is making this care affordable by ensuring it's covered by insurance. We've partnered with major insurance providers so that millions of Americans can access expert nutrition guidance with little to no out-of-pocket cost. We are passionate about shifting the focus of healthcare from a reactive, 'sick-care' system to one that prioritizes prevention and overall well-being, with dietitians leading the charge.
