We’re looking for a highly skilled Blockchain Developer with deep expertise in EVM-based ecosystems and backend architecture to join our team. This role is ideal for an engineer who doesn’t just write smart contracts but truly understands how blockchain infrastructure operates under the hood and can build reliable, scalable systems that interact with chains in production environments.
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Format: Full-time, Remote
About the Role:
- You will work on high-performance blockchain infrastructure with a focus on EVM ecosystems and trading systems integration. The role includes building backend services that interact directly with Ethereum and Layer 2 networks, integrating with the Hyperliquid perpetual trading platform, and designing production-grade blockchain interaction layers. This position requires strong architectural thinking, performance awareness, and the ability to operate in a fast-moving Web3 environment where reliability and execution speed matter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain backend systems integrating with EVM blockchains (Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, and other L2s)
- Integrate with Hyperliquid perpetual trading platform
- Design and implement blockchain interaction layers (RPC handling, indexers, event listeners, transaction builders)
- Develop infrastructure for trading automation and on-chain execution
- Ensure reliability, performance, and security of blockchain-facing systems
- Optimize transaction flow, gas efficiency, and execution strategies
- Monitor and improve production-grade blockchain integrations
Key Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with EVM chains (Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, etc.)
- Deep understanding of Layer 1 vs Layer 2 architectures
- Solid knowledge of gas mechanics, mempool behavior, and transaction lifecycle
- Strong backend architecture experience (API design, async systems, message queues, monitoring, scaling)
- Proficiency in: Python, JavaScript / TypeScript, Solidity
- Experience interacting with smart contracts programmatically (web3 libraries, transaction signing, transaction management)
- Understanding of DeFi protocols and trading infrastructure
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to deliver independently
- Performance-oriented engineering approach
- Curiosity about blockchain internals and system mechanics
- Nice to Have: Experience with Hyperliquid or HyperEVM; with building trading bots, execution engines, or market-making systems; with paymaster / gasless transactions (EIP-2612, EIP-4337); with writing production-grade smart contracts; with working with non-EVM chains (Solana, Bitcoin, Tron); knowledge of Rust, and familiarity with order books, perpetual futures, and liquidity mechanisms.
Benefits:
- Work on advanced blockchain trading infrastructure
- High-impact engineering role with strong ownership
- Fully remote environment
- Opportunity to build production-grade Web3 systems at scale
