We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to handle operational tasks across DevOps and IT support: assisting users (devices, access, onboarding/offboarding), managing equipment procurement, monitoring production infrastructure, and performing routine server maintenance.
Direct Manager: Senior DevOps
Location: Minsk
Format of work: full-time role with flexible start times and a hybrid setup (4 days in the office, 1 remote)
Responsibilities:
a) user support and resolution of common IT issues (Wi-Fi / VPN / logins / 2FA / services);
b) onboarding/offboarding + access management and basic security;
c) hardware and software asset management;
d) device inventory, procurement/repairs, license management.
a) production monitoring: alerts/dashboards, availability, and key metrics;
b) escalation and improvements: handover to Senior DevOps/development team with proper context and timeline + participation in postmortems, improving alerts and observability.
a) setup and support of production servers using templates: updates/planned maintenance, backup and health checks, documentation, change management, and access control.
a) CI/CD support for the web team: configuring build/test/deploy pipelines, secrets management, basic release standards (environments/versions/tags), improving deployment speed and stability;
b) troubleshooting and initial triage of failed pipelines/deployments with escalation when necessary.
What We Expect from You:
Hard skills
2+ years of experience as a DevOps;
confident Linux administration: users/permissions, basic networking, systemd, logs, troubleshooting;
understanding of monitoring and alerting principles (metrics/logs/traces, basic SLI/SLO concepts);
experience handling incidents and proper escalation (what information to collect and how to describe issues clearly);
practical server administration: updates, basic security, backup concepts;
experience with ticketing systems (Jira) and documentation tools (Confluence);
basic networking knowledge (DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, Wi-Fi) and common user-related issues;
Ability to work with documentation and organize hardware/license inventory.
Experience with CI/CD systems: GitHub Actions / GitLab CI (preferred), Jenkins (as an alternative).
ability to configure and maintain pipelines (build/test/deploy), manage artifacts, environment variables, and secrets.
Soft skills

experience with IaC (Terraform/Ansible), at least at the level of reading configurations and making minor changes;
experience with containers (Docker) and a basic understanding of Kubernetes;
experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) or hosting providers;
understanding of security best practices (2FA, least privilege principle, key/secret management);
experience writing runbooks and checklists, and improving helpdesk/monitoring processes;
experience building CI/CD for web projects (GitHub Actions / GitLab CI), pipeline optimization (caching, parallelization), and basic release practices (environments, rollback, versioning).
