We’re now strengthening our Risk & Decisioning core team and are looking for someone who can set the technical bar and build best-in-class, production-grade models that materially move business metrics, creating the SotA models in the industry.
Challenges that await you:
- Lead R&D and development of AI models for credit risk / fraud / collections / limit management
- Research articles with SotA decisions in industry, write own articles and speak at industry conferences
- Work with large, complex datasets (behavioral, transactional, device/network, text, time series, graphs—as applicable)
- Apply feature engineering and representation learning where it delivers meaningful uplift—and clearly explain why the added complexity is worth it in production
- Drive technical decisions end-to-end: methodology → implementation → performance/latency → robustness, interpretability, and compliance
- Communicate results clearly to cross-functional stakeholders: product, risk, business, and leadership
What makes you a great fit:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Good knowledge of mathematical statistics and probability theory
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms (GBM, MLP, CNN, RNN, Transformer, etc.)
- High communication skills
- Ability to strike a reasonable balance between solution complexity and practical applicability
- Experience in data analytics competitions and model development experience in banking (preferred)
- Mathematical or technical education from the following universities: MSU, MIPT, HSE, MSTU, MEPhI, NES (preferred)
