About the Role
As Employer Brand Manager at Salmon, you will build and scale our employer brand as the company grows rapidly in a hybrid and global setup. You will define and communicate a clear, authentic narrative about who we are as an employer, grounded in real employee experience.
This role sits at the intersection of talent, culture, and storytelling. You will translate our EVP and internal culture into compelling messages that attract top talent, strengthen our visibility in the tech ecosystem, and support hiring at scale.
Your work will have a direct impact on candidate quality, time-to-hire, offer acceptance rate, and Salmon’s reputation with candidates, partners, and investors.
What You Will Do
- Define and scale Salmon's employer brand narrative
- Develop EVP based on real employee experience
- Create unified messaging for all internal and external touchpoints
- Train recruiters and hiring managers to communicate our story
- Build employer brand content engine
- Create employee stories, engineering blogs, case studies, behind-the-scenes content
- Manage LinkedIn, tech communities, job boards, and event presence
- Own career site: design structure, write content, optimize for conversions
- Drive DevRel and external visibility
- Position Salmon experts through talks, meetups, conferences, and technical content
- Build partnerships with tech communities and universities
- Optimize candidate experience and conversion
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to improve journey from first contact to offer
- Drive offer acceptance rate through better positioning and "wow" moments
- Manage reputation and community
- Own Glassdoor rating, referral program, and alumni network
- Monitor and respond to employer brand feedback
- Track and optimize performance
- Metrics: inbound quality, offer acceptance, Glassdoor rating, brand reach, career site conversion
- Use data to improve messaging, channels, and experience
What we expect from candidate
- Proven experience in Employer Branding, Talent Marketing, or related roles in fast-growing tech or fintech companies.
- Strong strategic thinking: ability to translate business and hiring goals into a clear employer brand narrative and execution plan.
- Strong content creation skills: writing compelling stories, creating visual content (Canva / Figma), editing short-form videos, and designing campaigns.
- Deep understanding of what tech talent (engineers, product managers, designers) care about when choosing employers.
- Data-driven mindset: ability to track and analyze metrics and optimize based on results.
- Experience with community building or DevRel initiatives: events, partnerships, meetups, tech communities, or social presence growth.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to adapt tone and format to different audiences.
- Comfort working in international and multicultural environments; experience with global talent markets is a strong plus.
- Startup mentality: comfortable building from scratch, wearing multiple hats, prioritizing impact, and moving fast.
