Head of Back Office

Our Finance Team plays a strategic role in driving the company’s financial health and long-term growth. We are responsible for financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and performance analysis, providing clear insights that support informed decision-making across the organization.

A key component of our function is back office operations. The team ensures the efficiency and reliability of core administrative and financial processes, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, documentation, and internal controls. By maintaining structured processes and high standards of accuracy, the back office enables seamless day-to-day operations and supports overall business continuity.

Challenges That Await You

• Building Processes from the Ground Up: Leading the creation and documentation of end-to-end operational policies and reconciliation processes from scratch to support rapid company growth and increasing transaction volumes.
• Data Management and Integrity: Ensuring data integrity and operational accuracy in diverse product structures and large-scale digital operations, where precision in daily reconciliation is critical.
• Technological Integration: Collaborating with technology teams to implement tools for automated and efficient process execution.
• Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management: Effectively coordinating essential financial execution tasks with the Treasury, Payments, and Accounting functions.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Fin Ops, Operations, or Finance roles, preferably within regulated financial institutions or high-growth Fintechs.
• Process & Operational Knowledge: Demonstrated hands-on experience managing daily reconciliation, investment execution, and regulatory balance management (CUD, legal reserves, mandatory investments).
• Hands-on Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL or data automation tools is required. The role is highly hands-on during the first 1–2 years, necessitating the ability to build data models and create processes from the ground up.
• Controls and Governance: Proven experience establishing a robust internal controls framework and implementing comprehensive regulatory reporting compliance across accounting activities.
• Conversational English
