💼 Product:
An internal reconciliation platform managing all payment flows and financial operations. The system handles complex calculations around rent, taxes, fees, and debt processing for thousands of accounts.
👨💻 Role:
We’re looking for a fullstack/backend developer who will take full technical ownership of the company's payment platform. You'll be working on sophisticated problems at the intersection of engineering and finance.
🎯 Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services in PHP while leading their migration to Node.js/TypeScript
- Drive feature development: tax statements, debt processing and other new features
- Develop frontend interfaces for internal accounting operations
- Design and improve code architecture and development workflows
- Work beyond payments/reconciliation when needed, contributing to the core platform and adjacent services
🛠 Tech stack: PHP (legacy monolith), Node.js, TypeScript, Fastify, tRPC, React, Vite, Tailwind CSS, MySQL, drizzle-orm, Docker, CI/CD, Sentry, ELK
📋 What we expect:
- 6+ years of software development experience
- Deep expertise in PHP and/or Node.js/TypeScript
- Systems thinking with proven ability to design architecture and justify technical decisions
- Strong business sense: you understand how engineering decisions drive profitability
- Thrive in fast-paced environments with resilience, adaptability, and bias for action
- Fluent English
