Perplexity is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to help revolutionize the way people search, learn, and get things done online. In this role, you'll translate cutting-edge AI advances into product experiences that power our financial operations, revenue systems, and business intelligence infrastructure.
Our tech stack includes Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript, React, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, vLLM, and AWS.

The Finance Engineering team builds the critical systems and infrastructure that power Perplexity's financial operations at scale. We own the end-to-end technology stack for revenue recognition, billing automation, financial reporting, compliance systems, and business intelligence platforms. The team works at the intersection of engineering excellence and financial precision, building robust, auditable systems that handle complex subscription models, enterprise contracts, usage-based billing, and global payment processing. We partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Revenue Operations teams to automate workflows, ensure data accuracy, enable strategic decision-making, and support Perplexity's rapid growth with scalable, compliant financial technology solutions.
