Marketing team: The PR Manager is responsible for shaping, protecting, and amplifying the bank’s institutional voice across all earned and organic media channels. This role leads the development of strategic narratives, manages relationships with media and key opinion leaders, oversees official external communications, and plays a critical role in crisis mitigation, reputation management, and risk assessment.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, leadership, and external agencies, the PR Manager ensures the bank’s positioning is consistent, credible, and aligned with business objectives and regulatory standards.

- Craft data-driven, research-based narratives and arguments to strengthen and evolve Plata’s institutional positioning, supporting credibility, thought leadership, and long-term brand reputation.
- Ensure brand, tone, and messaging consistency across all public-facing communications and editorial content.
- Write and edit editorial content, including articles, op-eds, blogs, and thought leadership pieces that reinforce the bank’s expertise and credibility.
- Develop compelling media pitches and story angles to secure high-quality coverage in relevant financial, business, and general-interest outlets.
- Lead the development and distribution of press releases announcing company news, product launches, milestones, and corporate updates.
- Prepare speeches, talking points, factsheets, and presentations for executives for conferences, public forums, and media appearances.
- Plan, organize, and execute press events, media briefings, and participation in key summits and industry forums.
- Manage the bank’s presence at financial, fintech, and industry events, ensuring strategic alignment and visibility.
- Develop and execute crisis mitigation and crisis management protocols, including scenario planning and rapid-response communications.
- Maintain ongoing risk oversight by proactively identifying potential reputational issues and providing timely alerts and recommendations.
- Monitor media coverage, public sentiment, and competitor activity to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Coordinate and manage the PR agency and build a strong internal and external team to support day-to-day communications needs.
