We are seeking a Release / DevOps Engineer to drive the design, implementation, and scaling of our release automation and tooling systems. This role emphasizes engineering excellence, automation, and tooling integration.
As the Release Engineer, DevOps, you will architect CI/CD pipelines, build release automation frameworks, and integrate tools that accelerate developer productivity. You’ll work closely with engineering, QA, DevOps, and security teams to streamline build and release processes, enhance automation coverage, and ensure fast, safe, and reliable delivery of software across environments.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement next-generation CI/CD pipelines.
- Drive automation of build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Integrate tooling across source control, testing, monitoring, and infrastructure.
- Integrate performance testing, unit testing, security scanning, monitoring into build and deployment workflows.
- Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and proof-of-concepts.
- Write and maintain automation scripts (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Troubleshoot build, deployment, and integration issues.
- Contribute directly to release automation frameworks and developer tools.
- Working in scrum/kanban SW dev cycle, using JIRA.
- Monitor, measure, and optimize build times, test coverage, and deployment success rates.
Requirements:
- 6+ years in DevOps, release engineering, or infrastructure automation.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub).
- Hands-on scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Deep knowledge of Git workflows, branching strategies, and versioning.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid background in cloud environments (AWS).
- Familiarity with Security scanning.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in complex distributed systems.
- Experience introducing new automation/DevOps practices into existing orgs.
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring applications.
- Experience building internal developer platforms or release frameworks.
