We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Communication Core Stream — the team responsible for developing and scaling Plata’s internal communication platform.
The stream owns and evolves the core communication infrastructure. The team ensures stable SLAs, high communication quality, and strong process automation across the platform.
The key objective is to eliminate single points of failure and move from manual operational handling to a structured, platform-based approach. The focus is on enabling business growth through system design and automation rather than increased operational effort.
Challenges that await you:
- Design and automate communication policies to ensure consistent and scalable decision-making
- Reduce manual overrides and eliminate campaign conflicts or quality degradation
- Own and evolve the Admin UI as a self-service product for business and operations teams
- Define and maintain the roadmap for internal communication tooling
- Develop analytics, logging, and observability capabilities across the platform
- Improve incident investigation processes and reduce MTTR
- Implement structured RCA and incident ownership frameworks
- Partner with engineering to scale platform throughput and support rapid growth
- Balance business priorities with technical debt and platform stability
What makes you a great fit:
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in high-load or platform environments
- Experience working with communication platforms or campaign management systems
- Strong system analysis skills and experience in process automation
- Experience defining requirements for internal tools or admin interfaces
- Understanding of observability, logging, and incident management principles
- Ability to operate at the intersection of business, product, and engineering
- Strong prioritization and stakeholder alignment skills
- Fluent English (B2+)
Your bonus skills:
- Experience scaling internal platforms supporting rapid business growth
- Background in SLA-driven environments
- Experience implementing automation policies or rule engines
- Exposure to incident ownership and post-mortem frameworks
- Experience optimizing platform throughput or high-load systems
- Understanding of communication prioritization logic
Our ways of working:
- Innovative Spirit: A commitment to creativity and groundbreaking solutions
- Honest Feedback: valuing open, transparent communication
- Supportive Team: a strong, collaborative community
- Celebrating Achievements: recognizing our wins together
- High-Tech Environment: a team full of smart and revolutionary people who date to challenge the status quo of incumbent finances
Our benefits:
- Relocation support to one of our hubs — Mexico, Cyprus, Serbia, or Georgia — with assistance for the employee and their family
- Flexible work from one of our offices or remote
- Healthcare Coverage
- Education Budget: Language lessons, professional training and certifications
- Wellness Budget: Mental health and fitness activity reimbursements
- Vacation policy: 20 days of annual leave and paid sick leave
